We have 2 Lighthouse 'All in One Tours: The 'Made in Vietnam': bicycle tour & cooking class & lunch The ‘Wheels & Water & Food’: bicycle tour & boat ride & cooking class & lunch What makes our All in one Tours so different is that we not only show you the rural countryside life during the bicycle tour, we also show how herbs, fruit, vegetable and rice grows. (depends of the season) And did you know that a banana tree is the biggest herb in the world! Why is it not aloud to turn your delicious served fish on your plate? And how can you see on the outside how many fruit parts there are in a Mangosteen? What is the difference between throwing rice in Vietnam and the Western society? This and many more subjects belonging to the Vietnamese traditions, beliefs and ceremonies will be explained too you during the tour. For people who also choose for the All in one Tour including the boat trip, we will show you more about the traditional way of fishing around Cam Nam Island. You have to cook your self. Cooking stove, pans and other equipment are available. Also with the All In One tours we don't put you together with other travelers! The cooking classes will be obtained by Linh, who's doing the practical cooking and teaching and Hans (Netherlands) is doing the bicycle tour and visits with you a market where no tourist comes. During the tour you get a lot of information about food in relation with religion, tradition, numbers, colors and superstition. We will end our cooking class with a delicious lunch and we will give you all the recipes of the food you have made.
